Bleed air-based air conditioning system
The bleed air based air conditioning system receives hot charge air from aircraft engine and reduces the temperature and humidity of the air for use as conditioned air. This conditioned air is used to cool the avionics/electronics equipment’s in aircraft (such as radar, EW system etc). The main components used in ACS is Compact Heat Exchanger, Air Cycle Machine , Water Separator, Jet Pump, Relief Valve, Water Injector, Temperature Sensors , Temperature Control Valve and Control Box.
Key Features
- High performance of air conditioning in hot climate
- Optimized weight
- Platform:Fixed and Rotary wing
- Application:Air Conditioning
- Use:ECS, Avionics, Mission System
Utilizes hot compressed air from the aircraft engine to deliver temperature and humidity-controlled air for cooling avionics and electronic systems.
